A Poetic Disaster

{January 23, 2012}   Ke$ha – Tik Tok Parody <3

I wrote this parody dedicated to my Dad, Nathan Wong, Bob Wang & Eejay Alivio – Bromance ♥

Wake up in the morning, got a call from committee

(Good morning sir)

Put on a collar, I’m out the door, I’m gona leave this city

(Let’s fly)

Before I leave, check my visa, got my clothes all packed

‘Cause when I leave, like a boss, I’ll choose when I’m coming back

I’m talking, epicure like a boss, boss,

Minimizing all the costs, costs,

Customers calling up phones, phones,

. . . . .

Servin’ up, gwai lou’s favourite cuisine,

Quality up in our Chinese,

Trying to get a little rich ya . . . see

Don’t stop, make it pop,

Fry the oil in the wok,

Tonight, Imma fight

Till we see the tunnel light

Tick tock on the clock

But the mortgage don’t stop, no

Woah-oh oh oh

Woah-oh oh oh x2

Got tons of problems in this world, but I got limited tears

Got so many friends in the clubs, but I don’t want any beers

And now, the girls are lining up, cause they hear we got grander

But we put’em to the side, unless we know they’re not panders

I’m talking about everybody taking a punt, punt,

Girls trying to touch my junk, junk,

Gona reject them, cause I’m just blunt, blunt,

Now, now, we work until I pay my house, house,

Or the bank shut us down, down,

The bank shut us down, down,

Ba-bank shut us

Don’t stop, make it pop,

Fry the oil in the wok,

Tonight, Imma fight

Till we see the tunnel light

Tick tock on the clock

But the mortgage don’t stop, no

Woah-oh oh oh

Woah-oh oh oh x2

Dad, you build me up,

You help me out,

My heart is pounds,

Yea, you got me

With my hands up

Put your hands up

Put your hands up

Now the mortgage don’t end till I’m ball’in

Don’t stop, make it pop,

Fry the oil in the wok,

Tonight, Imma fight

Till we see the tunnel light

Tick tock on the clock

But the mortgage don’t stop, no

Woah-oh oh oh

Woah-oh oh oh x2

{December 3, 2011}   Move Smarter

~ Inspiration > Tablo – Flood (Instrumental), Jay Park

My two limbs are shorter, than the rest, I know

But why, climb twice as fast, when ya ‘lready low

And ya,

Movin’ at a rate, that’s not too great,

I think,

I think it’s ‘bout the time to, deviate, (hey…)

It sounds like I’m quittin but I quit you not

I gotta move smarter ‘n’ faster, with what I got,

If I can’t strike a base, with the arms that I have,

I’ll just pick up the pace, with my legs, like a crab

You know what I’m sayin’

It’s your life that you’re playin’

Take your lessons in stride

Cause the time won’t be waitin’

And pick up your besties,

When they call for a ride,

Cause later down the track,

They’ll be your greatest guides

{January 19, 2011}   Yellow

A mixture of emotions,

Driving in the night

Raindrops on my windscreen,

Clouds out of sight,

Disconnected thoughts,

Red traffic light.

Vacant passenger seat,

Moon is sickly white

Windows wide open~

Icy winds bite!

Shivers to the soul,

Tyres, taut and tight

Crossing empty roads,

It all seems right.

Green

{December 28, 2010}   Wary

Swallowed

In a crowd of careless strangers,

Listening

To all the meaningless exchanges,

Watching

The emotions spread across their faces~

I stare,

Without a care,

But with only the interest of being aware~

Fake or real or maybe a glare,

From the distance of one who would dare to stare

At me.

{December 9, 2010}   Hypocrite

No tear shall fall,

Within this mask,

A glance at the floor . . .

Is the time

That it will last~

In this moment alone,

No one shall know,

For there is no need,

No need to show~

The truth.

For it is the youth

Of our mistakes,

That shows the proof,

For our own sake.

So shhh.

Let us be . . .

Fake~

{December 1, 2010}   Dun . . . no~

I dunno . . .

Been here a million times,

At this, very desk,

Looking at the Y,

I try to try~

Making up the words

To write these songs

That they don’t have to hear,

I dun really know,

Why. I’m. Here.

It’s like my life,

Finally,

Missed. A. Gear.

My silly dreams,

That I used to,

Hold. So. Dear.

Are crystallized,

The future is,

Ne-ver. Clear.

~~~
Oh I dunno . . .
Why the words don’t flow,
Like they used to go,
Into a show . . . oh~
Of my ditty life,
I think my words’ on strike
My ability,
Has said goodnight . . .
{November 18, 2010}   Dear Tear~
You know,
But don’t ask,
I know you know,
But we all mask . . .
That tear we hold dear
You know it won’t last~
You’re around me always,
Even when you’re not,
I can feel your touch on me,
Some days,
Even when you rot~
In the ground~
Under my feet
I stand for you,
Cause you are 1337.
It is an honour,
To be the one,
To represent,
You are the one.
None can compare.
None.
God Bless
A.
{October 6, 2010}   Entranced
Each beat pulses through my aching back,
Back to the time,
Where a beat felt like a hack . . .
Hacking holes into my soul,
Breaking my spine,
Making me fall
Every beat touches my face,
Fast and harder,
In the heat of the race.
I want to scream no,
But it feels so good.
I want to reject and go,
But you know I’ve misunderstood.
You are my sin.
This is where we begin,
You will change me
Into a saint within~
Music makes me free <3
{October 4, 2010}   My Prize
Where do we learn to make these mistakes?
Why do we choose the ones that we eventually hate?
What is it about them that makes them one?
Different from others, destined to become . . .
Theirs, not yours.
Even if you took in their flaws,
And took them all in just because . . .
You love him,
But you loathe her.
What really hurts,
Is that you used to know her,
Every nerve in you, says murder her,
But you don’t, cause . . .
He loves her,
But what’s even worse,
He used to love you.
It’s like a curse.
A rotten, rancid, raging curse,
You’d rather die, to crash and burn.
In a hearse
In a cold, dark, lonely hearse
But . . .
You live on~
And you run,
Cut,
But traveling on,
Gut-
Renching, that song,
Cause it reminds you of that bond.
It might seem,
Like a lonely road,
With a unforgiving and burdensome load,
But remember, the team~
The team of friends,
Supporting your weight~
Cause sometimes, you’re too heavy,
And they come to help out a mate,
So live your damn lives,
Live through the pain,
Live through unlike it’s a compromise
But more like as if your life was a prize.
Cause it weren’t for Him, we’d have nothing to gain.
All I know now is that I’m sane~
I’m His
{October 3, 2010}   Company
It’s a crowd,
Who can make me feel,
Feel truly alone.
It’s my company,
Who can make me sick,
Sick to the bone.
It’s not just them,
It’s me.
It’s not even you,
You see,
What I choose to do,
I have reason,
But what I confuse with you,
May be treason . . .
To your heart,
So stop it,
Cause I won’t even start,
So drop it,
You think you might know,
Who I am really,
But what I tell you,
I tell everyone,
Seriously.
Controlling yourself,
Might be an issue,
I might even hurt you,
But I won’t give you a tissue.
I already told you,
My intentions,
This is how I am,
So pay attention,
Forgive my nature,
Forgive my heart,
I don’t want you in a vice,
To be torn apart.
Leave me be,
Leave me alone.
It’s just me,
In my zone~
Go away
